This weekend was jam-packed for our household! Drew and I headed separate directions for most of it as we each had so many places to be at different times throughout the two days. Maybe next weekend will slow down? Likely not. 😉
One of the highlights for my weekend was the Sip, Style, Shop KC event on Sunday. This bi-annual event is the perfect showcase of some of KC’s best boutiques. Though only the first year for this particular event, I know there will be many more to come! Brianna Archuletta is the brains (and beauty) behind Sip, Style, Shop KC and her hard work showed in the gorgeous 28 Event Space downtown.

Collections By J – You can find their pieces in-person in the new Array shop on the Country Club Plaza. (Sorry if you are not in the Kansas City area! We get them all to ourselves!) They specialize in affordable fashion including the pieces shown in the photo above. I snagged a very cute lace bralette today that fits perfectly!
Best Friend’s Boyfriend – While you’re only likely to see them in the flesh at select events like this one, their online boutique is rocker chic meets cute and cozy. For those of you that are obsessed with my younger sister, you’ll enjoy knowing that she has recently made purchases from them. Coco Brookside/Kate/Lady Bye – These three sister boutiques each have a unique personality that also manage to blend together into a sophisticated local brand. Their polished pieces are always luxe in look and feel and their accessories come with a little bit of sass, too.
Courtney Bond Designs – The coolest handmade jewelry! I grabbed a long, beaded necklace with marble-colored crescent that I cannot wait to wear!
Frankie & Jules – One of the OGs of boutiques in KC! Frankie & Jules now has a re-vamped location in Olathe and just so happens to stock my very favorite Kansas City tee/sweatshirt brand, 1KC.
Gorgeous Eats
Grazing KC – Pictures don’t even do it justice! This was the most beautifully laid out assortment of snacks! If you don’t have a party to plan, come up with a reason for one. They will make it deliciously chic!
Midwest Cookie Co – Literally the best cookie I have ever eaten. They looked nearly too good to eat, but there is no way you would ever regret chowing down. I am going to be actively looking for reasons to order custom cookies…maybe for something like…it’s Monday?
And if the event itself wasn’t enough, my goodie bag was packed with discounts and trial-sized items from the participating vendors and more! I am already looking forward to the spring event!
