An Honest Review: Ruggable

January 24, 2025

Recently, I decided to bite the bullet and spend the money on a Ruggable rug. I have purchased runner after runner for my kitchen over the years, and every one of them rolls at the edges and moves around even with a stopper underneath. Ruggable advertises based on being able to nix those problems in the bud. So, does their product do what they claim?

The short answer is ‘yes’. I’ve had my Ruggable runner in my kitchen now for a full 30 days. In that time, it has stayed in place through a kiddo running after his friends, the dogs running into the house for a treat, and all the other life that happens in our house. The edges have not rolled up even once either!

The magic lies in their pad under the washable rug cover. There is a black pad that goes down first on your flooring and acts as a base to stop movement and rolling. You then put a rug cover over that base by attaching it over the corners of the base itself. The base layer further has an almost velcro effect on the rug cover to keep the two pieces together. Drip food on it? Remove, treat, and throw it right into the washing machine! Want to swap it out for a new season or as a refresh of your home? Easy enough: just pick a new cover from their site and pop it on top of the pad.

My only regret with this purchase is that I didn’t make it sooner. I wish I’d done this when I first moved into my house to make my life easier! Now that I know how game-changing this is, I’ll be slowly replacing my rugs around my house with Ruggable versions so that I can have this magic everywhere. 10/10 purchase!
