My 2025 Reading List

January 17, 2025

Late last year, I set my 2024 reading goal of 12 books hoping to get to one each month. I somehow managed to find a consistent pocket of time in my day in which to read this year, so that goal was blown out of the water. My 2025 reading goal is going to be 20 with these 6 books at the top of the list.

The Art of Home by Shea McGee

I loved this show on Netflix and have been eyeing this book from Shea McGee for a while now. I finally saw the price drop on Amazon and snagged it. I cannot wait to get inspired for little updates to my home for the new year!

It’s So You: The Joy of Personal Style

This Kate Spade tome looks like a cutie. We’ll see if the content is worthwhile…but for the price it was worth a try! It’s a quick and easy read that will hopefully spark some creative thinking about how to style yourself each day.

The Cartiers by Fransesca Cartier Brickell

This is one of the books I am most excited to read! The Cartier family built such an incredible jewelry empire and one that continues to dazzle the world over. I’m keen to know more about this family and the history of the house.

Christian Dior by Christian Berard

The two men were friends and colleagues so this will be an interesting read. The pictures alone sold me on this one both for the fun of looking through it as well as for the fashion book collector in me.

100 Year of Fashion

History and fashion in one. This is one for the collection, looks great as decor, and gives historical context to the clothes designed and worn over the years. The book version of a triple threat.

The Little Book of Dolce & Gabbana

Could you please spell ‘Gabbana’? Yes! The Little Book collection continues to grow. This is my 23rd in the collection of 24 available (I do not have the Rolex book) and I cannot wait to read this one covering my favorite design duo, Dolce & Gabbana. The pictures alone are exciting, but the overview of the creation of this brand and it’s continued history is sure to be good. If you are looking for books in this collection, Amazon has them all for a good price, but you can also find them at your local Home Goods/TJ Maxx. There are at least 3 more already slated to be released in 2025.

Happy reading, friends!
