Tom Ford is one of the most recognized names in fashion, but April 26th saw his last collection for his namesake brand. He sold the brand back in November to Estee Lauder, and it was only recently announced that Peter Hawking would be succeeding him as the creative director for the brand. We’ll have to wait and see what lies ahead for both the brand and the man who created it.
This past Monday was fashion’s biggest night: Met Gala Monday aka The First Monday In May. Stars stepped onto the steps of the Met to pay homage to Karl Lagerfeld and take in the museum’s exhibit in his honor. This year’s dress code required guests to simply take inspiration from Karl and honor his legacy, and the stars did not disappoint. This may have been the first time in recent memory that the worst-dressed were still (mostly) on theme and well-presented. Find all of my favorite looks from the night on my Pinterest HERE.
