After having Beckham, dresses have been calling my name. That works perfectly though since we are heading right into summer, and brands have flowy, summer dresses out in full swing.
While there have been pricier options I’ve pined over, I decided to try Target’s versions of a few dress styles I liked. It took trying a few styles to land on the five I ended up keeping, but these were my favorites for spring/summer. Click any of the pictures below to shop the look!
This was one of my absolute top picks! I love the length hitting below the knee. It is a classic A-line shape and has a lining underneath so that it is not see-through. Given the weight I have on from the pregnancy, I went with a Medium. (For reference I am 5’6 and currently about 165 lbs).
Well, yes. I had to get it in black, too. This is such a classic style that I know I will get wear out of both colors in future years.
This is so comfortable it is unreal. It comes in a few other colors including some that are more bold. I chose this more classic navy stripe (above) and the solid navy below. Again, the length is awesome! I love the way it hits below the knee so you can wear wedges (like I am here) or sandals depending on where you are heading.
Oh, and did I mention all of these dresses have pockets??
This may be the perfect dress for summer; easy, light, not see-through, and pairs well with basically any accessories.
At just a few weeks post-partum, I didn’t think I would be ordering a bodycon dress…especially since I wouldn’t have before the pregnancy! However, this lightweight knit fabric allows for a little grace in that bodycon style. I chose a Medium for this and it is just a little loose while giving me a great shape still. Again, the length being below the knee is something that works so well for my body and that I love.
