Time flies when you’re having fun, right? Well, luckily pregnancy has treated me kindly so far and I’m hoping that continues right on through the delivery process. The worst I’m dealing with is rib/back pain as my stomach is growing, so I truly can’t complain. My bump is now fully visible and getting in my way for some yoga positions. I am working hard to stay regularly active by doing yoga at least 4 times a week for 20-25 minutes. The stretching and movement help me feel energized and are great for preparing for the labor process (or so they say).
Little man is growing on track! We had our last sonogram at 21 weeks and he was doing a headstand during most of it while kicking me repeatedly. The kicks have definitely been one of the coolest parts about being pregnant. Feeling him say a quick ‘hi’ or wake me up in the middle of the night has actually been endearing and something I look forward to. It makes me feel more connected to this process and to him.
While we count down to his arrival in April, I have started buying clothes for him! I have always loved how tiny and cute all of the baby clothes are, and now I have my own little reason to buy the ones I like. I am very particular about what clothes I buy for myself and am being the same way with him. Neutrals are key for kiddos because they are easy to mix and match. Plus, with how quickly they grow, nothing truly needs to be too pricey, printed, or personalized because they will grow out of it within a few weeks or months at most. I’m sharing a few of my favorite little things that I’ve found for my little man below, with many being color and gender neutral!
