Shopping for pants and for jeans especially is a daunting task. After having Beckham, that task became all that much worse as my body had changed so much. While my weight on the scale may have been within just 3-5 lbs of my pre-pregnancy weight, my body shape itself had shifted and pants just fit differently. When I got promoted recently and found out I would have to travel for meetings in person for the first time in over 4 years of working from home, pants were the first thing that entered my mind. What the heck am I supposed to wear now??
I had to try them on in person to understand what worked and what didn’t on my new body. I went to store after store in the mall trying on denim and slacks that would be basic enough to mix and match with a number of things to make building outfits easy. However, nothing was quite fitting right in any of these stores. My last stop was Nordstrom. I tried on 4 more pairs of black pants/slacks there and the very last pair was like slipping on the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants jeans; they fit like a glove. I had heard of the Wit & Wisdom label in my online perusals of the Nordstrom site but had never purchased or tried them before.
Since shopping that day, I have purchased 4 more pairs of their jeans and pants. I love knowing that I can pick my size and have it work every time. I buy their ‘Ab’Solution options in just about any style. They have what the brand describes as a ‘built-in technology that slims, shapes, and lifts in all the right places’, and they actually do. My midsection has been my insecurity point the past few years. Even in the best shape, you hit that time of the month and immediately bloat and feel that area become your least favorite part! If you’re after a new brand of jeans to love, these are absolutely worth a try and worth the money. Keep an eye on sale pricing if you’re not ready to pull the trigger just yet! You’ll be happy you did. I will keep buying from this brand and give their jeans and their pants a 10/10.
