Etsy Gift Guide For The Holidays & Beyond

November 30, 2019

Given the inevitable madness Black Friday shopping causes in stores, I tend to keep my shopping through the Thanksgiving week-end online. Small Business Saturday is no exception! I love taking the weekend to relax and recharge away from work and to decorate for the holiday season. With the holidays just a few short weeks away, I like to get all of my gifts ordered and organized with plenty of time to spare. Small Business Saturday gives us all the chance to do just that while helping businesses that are smaller in scale (including many local vendors no matter where you are!).

This year, I’m sharing some of my favorite small businesses from a site that promotes ONLY that: Etsy! These are my favorite stores on Etsy to find gifts for loved ones and for myself. If you’re after something different this year, this is definitely the place to start!

Lauren MacKenzie Decals

Custom cups for everyone! I have fallen in love with Lauren MacKenzie’s cups! I have two custom cold cups with my blog name on them and am gifting some of her other cups this year. She constantly offers new patterns depending on the time of year and also adds new phrases too. Who doesn’t need a ‘Sleigh All Day’ winter cup or a ‘Mama Fuel’ for everyday? Bonus: using reusable cups is a simple way to reduce the amount of waste you create in the world. AND when you bring one of Lauren MacKenzie’s cups to Starbucks, you get 10% off!

Naturemade By Nic

I found Nic’s handmade jewelry during KC Fashion Week this fall. Her pieces include natural stones and crystals that not only give a chic look to your outfit but also have healing properties depending on the crystal. PS if anyone is looking for a gift for me….this necklace is on my wish list!

Courtney Bond Designs

Courtney Bond was one of the amazing vendors at Sip, Style, Shop KC this fall. She has gorgeous, unique handmade creations including necklaces and earrings that make great gifts for the holidays and beyond. I would snag these for a bridal party gift in a heartbeat!

House of Owls

So. CUTE! Based in the U.K., House of Owls creates metal signs in a variety of sizing options and phrases. My favorite is this “Let’s Stay In Bed” sign in black metal and would make a gorgeous accent piece for a bedroom. They have a ton of options, but also do custom work if you have a unique idea in mind.

The Cheeky Doormat

The name really says it all! These doormats are fun and perfect for welcoming guests into your space. From holiday mats to custom ones, you’re sure to find the perfect gift for your own home or someone else’s.

The Finer Things Club Tee.png

If you didn’t already know, I’m a major nerd. I absolutely LOVE The Office. Graphic tees like this one featuring The Finer Things Club from the show are some of my favorite to grab for myself and for my fellow Office fans. GameDayTeesCo has everything from Disney to the Backstreet Boys tees and sweatshirts that are fun and cozy to fit anyone’s style.

Initial Necklace.png

Something I’ve been seeing more of lately are personalized necklaces. Whether you pick your initials, a full name, the initials of your kiddos, or anything else, this makes for a simple statement for everyday looks. GracePersonalized also has rings and bracelets and all of the jewelry comes with the option for different metals, fonts, and style combinations. If you’re looking to channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw, this one is for you!

These prints are the best! Whether you are looking for family, sisters, besties, or anything else, you get a fashion illustration of those individuals and a quote above them that represents that special bond. There are a fantastic number of options for any occasion or person in your life.
