This season’s latest trends are possibly some of the easiest to wear and (bonus) you may even find some of them already in your wardrobe. Click any of the photos in this blog post to shop the look!
Quiet Luxury
By now you’ve likely heard this term more times than you care to, but this one has staying power. On top of the idea that ‘quiet luxury’ is a top trend at the moment, it blends into the idea of 90’s styles that are becoming popular, as well. The idea is as simple as removing anything that has logos or bright colors and/or patterns from the look and creating an outfit or wardrobe with ‘basics’. Staples in neutral colors that read in the style of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy as your 90’s inspo or Gwyneth Paltrow a la her ski accident trial are two examples of this trend. The best part about this trend? It is one where if you buy now, you’re likely still going to be able to wear these pieces in seasons to come. Basics and neutrals are always easy pieces to throw on and last through the more flashy trends that come and go.
Over the Knee Boots
Millenials can rejoice since this means skinny jeans, too! Boots above the knee are the ask this season for footwear. I personally prefer a heel that is 3.5-4 inches as it is the height I’m most comfortable in and feel makes my legs look best. A faux leather or suede boot for the fall/winter months in black or a good, rich brown tone will fit seamlessly into any wardrobe as a staple item.
Midi/Maxi Length Skirts & DressesĀ
This is the second fall/winter season in a row that has seen countless looks walk the runways with hemlines below the knees. The length is a nod to the 50’s silhouettes that cut so well then and still do today. This is a classic look that is updated to a modern version and looks gorgeous on most any body.
While these three trends are top contenders, there are others out there this season. Which trends or looks are you most excited to try?
